Pirate Bay

Why is it so hard to rip a damn DVD and encode it to something? There is probably some software I can pay for that would do it, but wouldn’t that be against the pirate’s code? =P The free method involves about 50 steps. There are a handful of free apps that are supposed to automate the process, but every one I’ve tried fail in various random ways.

With the amount of work required to rip these, it almost shouldn’t be considered piracy. If you are able to do it, you deserve it. In my case however, it’s actually for a DVD I own, I just want a copy of it stored on my external HD so I can play it from my Xbox without having to swap game/movie discs all the time.
